Thank You from Autopartstomorrow.com (here is your coupon)

Motorcraft Warranty Now 2 Years
Many of you are aware of our status as an Authorized ACDelco warehouse distributor, but did you know we are also an authorized Ford Motorcraft warehouse distributor? That means we are a main supplier directly to the GM and Ford dealerships in the areas where we have warehouses. The volume buying that this enables us to do creates very low prices, and we pass those savings along to you. One of the main reasons for our partnership with these brands is that they are without a doubt the finest OE brand part companies around. Many companies sell auto parts, some even sell ACDelco and Motorcraft, but no one can offer you the direct savings that you get from Autopartstomorrow.com.
We are proud to pass along the great news from Ford Motorcraft about their new 2 years parts warranty. Most auto parts companies offer 12 months, and some aftermarket part companies off limited lifetime* warranties to cover for the known comebacks they will have (watch out for the fine print). Motorcraft has now come up with a great combination of original equipment auto parts that are extremely dependable along with an extended 2 year warranty. You probably will not need it, but it is good to know that you are now covered for a full 24 months on OE Ford Motorcraft parts.
We Have Mopar
For those of you who drive Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep products, we have GREAT news! Mopar is now being added to our warehouse direct offering. It only made sense that at some point we would begin selling the other line of the BIG 3 U.S. automakers. Chrysler has in the past kept a preety close watch on who could offer their MOPAR line of auto parts. We are now honored to be able to offer their original equipment line along with the GM and Ford auto parts that we have had forever. I suppose it had something to do with our having been around and wowing auto parts dealerships, jobber stores and garages since 1928. We have proven we are not a short term partner. We are teaming up with them to make it easier for you to team up with us!
Black Friday and Cyber Monday Coupon Code
Please visit our Facebook page to retrieve your coupon code.
At Autopartstomorrow.com we don't offer coupon codes very often. The main reason is that our prices are already so low that any additional discount at all could cause us to actually lose money after we pay the freight to send the part to you. We could not however pass up this holiday of Thanksgiving without doing something to say Thank You to our customers. It is good for an additional 5% off on orders over $75 after discount. The code will ONLY be good for Thanksgiving day through midnight on cyber Monday December 2nd. We cannot extend it to orders before or after, and please do not forget to add it as you check out. We appreciate each and every one of you!!! CLICK HERE FOR COUPON

Original Equipment Ford Motorcraft DPFE15 EGR Pressure Sensor

We sell literally HUNDREDS of these. It will eventually need to be replaced on most vehicles and this particular EGR sensor fits HUNDREDS of different vehicles. Well maybe not that many, but you can look at the list below and see that it does fit quite a few, and from year models 1994 until current. There are not many part numbers with so wide a coverage period, 20 years, but if it works and the design is good there is no need to change.

Motorcraft OE Hub Bearing HUB24 bearing for 2000-2008 Ford F150 4 Wheel ABS

There are quite a few 2000-2008 Ford F150 trucks on the road. If your steering seems to be getting choppy, or if your tires are wearing very unevenly (all over the tread), there may be a chance this original part is the culprit. Just to be sure it would be best if you called us and confirmed the right part number because Ford offers quite a few options that would cause it to be another part number. Autopartstomorrow.com has a team of parts experts ready to help... 1-800-547-2052.

Motorcraft DG508 Ignition Coil vs. Standard Brand

For almost all auto parts these days there are "options". It can get pretty complicated. I am going to use the Ford Motorcraft DG508 Ignition Coil as an example. It fits a huge number of Ford cars and trucks that I will list at the bottom of the page. The Ford distributorless ignition engines are very well designed and use these "coil over" modules that sit on top of the spark plug. Most cars and trucks that use this part won't even need to do a tune-up or replace any of them for the first 100,000 miles. After that the coils begin to go bad, one at a time usually. Since the original Motorcraft part number DG508 typically sells for somewhere between $50 -$80 each, buying eight at one time would be devastating. At Autopartstomorrow we sell this part for about $37, which is a HUGE savings, but I am just getting started.

We also have a couple of Standard Brand ignition coils that are built to exactly the same specs, but sell for much less. The DG508 equivalent in Standard brand is FD503 and sells at Autopartstomorrow for a few dollars less each. Where the real savings add up is by buying the FD503T, which is built overseas, but carries the same warranty and are only around $17 each. For that price you may even be able to replace all of them.

If you are going to keep your vehicle forever we always advise to replace with original equipment parts. But if you are like most people and need to save some money to get your car going again for another 4-5 years, sometimes the savings on an aftermarket part can be quite helpful. Either way, they are quality parts and you won't find a better price anywhere than Autopartstomorrow.com.

I Love My Car !!

People are funny... We all work hard to express our uniqueness in many ways. One of those is in the choice of vehicle we drive. Whether we are aware of it or not, a lot can be told from our car.

I'm not really talking about the value of the car. Many people are driving much more car than they can afford. I'm speaking more about the size, shape, type and condition of our cars. We all know someone that has a very expensive car or truck that has not been washed or cleaned out since it was driven off of the showroom floor. We probably also know people of wealth that drive a vehicle beneath their means, like Sam Walton's famed old pickup truck. Then there is the traditional mid-life crisis car where an older person chooses to drive a sports car that seems more befitting of someone younger.

My favorite however is the "classic car" owner like the Chevette in the picture above, lined up with other muscle cars. I promise you would be entertained by speaking with this person. Whichever vehicle you love, we understand your passion. Cars are sometimes our best friends and sometimes our worst enemy depending on their state of repair. At Autopartstomorrow we want to work with you to make sure your car is in perfect running order, every day... especially tomorrow.

Legal Is Boring...

Many companies out there feel it is OK to try to deceive their customers and relabel or sell as OE, when it's really not. Like I tell anyone who will listen, "I'm just not smart enough to keep up with all that".

Our main line of auto parts are ACDelco and Motorcraft, direct from the manufacturers. Where they sell parts with the exact same number (but made by someone else), ours are exactly the same as if you paid for it at the parts counter of your local GM or Ford dealership. While we carry several full lines aftermarket parts, they are clearly marked by their manufacturer.

If you ever have a question about a part you bought from us please call. We will walk through the issue with you and make sure you are completely satisfied before you get off the phone. Your happiness is more important to us than any deception might be worth... besides, that would be illegal. The way we do business may be boring, but it is the right way, and our customers seem to appreciate it.

Why Should I Change Auto Parts Suppliers?

If we were just another auto parts store that might be a legitimate question. Autopartstomorrow.com is a different auto parts PROCESS that has been designed to save You money through OUR efficiencies.

When you buy from Autopartstomorrow you are buying from a warehouse distributor. We do not have the expense of maintaining auto parts stores all across the country. The rent, utilities, fleets of vehicles, employees, advertising, promotions, etc., the costs of running a retail business, all need to be folded into the cost ratio of the parts being sold. As such, the profit margin between what was paid for the actual auto part and what that part can be sold for needs to help pay for those expenses. As a warehouse distributor we basically have one HUGE warehouse per region, and UPS and FEDEX come to us to pick up the pallets of auto parts we ship each night.

Don't get me wrong, we still have support costs, but we keep those at an absolute minimum so we can sell our auto parts for less than the competition could even think about. We will be opening more large warehouses as we go to make sure we can get you your parts next day in every corner of the United States, but we promise to be frugal about the way we handle expansion to make sure we are always the best value for your auto parts needs. Our customers seem to think we have made the right choices so far.

Thanks !! Autopartstomorrow

Motorcraft and Ford parts

Shopping for Your Car

Your car is one the place in the world where you can feel truly alone. It is for many drivers an oasis where you can find solitude, as you listen to your music on a sound system, or simply have a few minutes alone with your own thoughts. What you don’t want to experience on a drive to work, home, or out for an evening is a mysterious knocking or grinding noise. Leaving a car’s maintenance up to fate almost ensures this will eventually happen. Keeping a car in good repair is the best way to enjoy its smooth running longer. Ordering parts should be simple. If you own a Ford for example finding the Ford part# doesn’t have to become arduous, if you know where to look right away. The Ford part# is there to make ordering the correct part that much easier.

To ensure that you are ordering the correct part using the Ford part# is the only way. The problem many owners have is they are unsure where to find the number. It is common to wonder if they are looking in the right place, and this is the main cause of frustration. It’s not actually worth driving into a repair shop and paying a higher price simply because the Ford part# is not immediately evident.

Every Ford auto part is individually assigned two numbers for the lifetime of the part. For some owners this is confusing, but when looking for the correct Ford part# it is necessary to know the difference between these two numbers. Each number is a Ford part# but serves a different function. One is the engineering number, and the other is the service number. For the most part the engineering number will not be of as much importance to the owner as the service number.

When looking for the Ford part# it should be understood the engineering number is used while the car is being designed. If your car is an older model this Ford part# can be used to determine when the car part was manufactured, but otherwise the service number is more important. The easiest way to get the right service number is to go online. Using your car’s VIN number, you can assess Ford’s official parts database. If you have the original paperwork and manual for the car the VIN number will be listed, but if not it is usually located on the dashboard in an upper corner near the windshield. By accessing the site, you can enter the year and model number of the car itself if you can’t locate the VIN.

The Ford part # can be accessed by Ford’s site, but if there is a problem contacting a dealer in car parts is the next best chance of finding the right service number. Keep the Ford part# as a record to save time if you need to replace the same part again. Trusted dealers like Auto Parts Tomorrow can help in ordering the right part, and getting you, what you need for less. Keeping a car in great running shape for less money and frustration is worth the few minutes spent on time finding the right part.

And the debate continues...

Some might call me crazy (bring it on, I get it all the time) but apparently I have the same views as many about the compact truck market that seems to have been abandoned. My blog posting from yesterday entitled "Wouldn't it be nice?" speaks of a more logical world where a small utility truck in several configurations and with a four cylinder diesel engine reigns supreme in the local delivery and sportsman arena.

Well, pickup truck.com has an article on the 2011 Global Ford Ranger highlighting the differences in it, the older ranger, and current F150. It seems to try to remain politically correct and "tow the line" with Fords company propaganda. What I find interesting are the comments below the article. If any executive at Ford is paying attention, they might want to read between the lines, and count the number of times the term BS and Ford are linked within them. Amusing...

50th Anniversary Mustang

In the coming months I will from time to time be posting pictures and sketches of the latest rumors surrounding the 50th anniversary Mustang. No one really knows what it will look like, and no one really knows for sure if it will be a 2015 or maybe a 2014 and-a-half. One thing is for sure, there is a lot of hype involved and Ford better not mess it up or a lot of people will be disappointed.

Wouldn't it be nice...

If you follow my blog posts you will remember my near constant rant about American manufacturers and the lack of a basic, workhorse type of truck. With today's diesel technology and new nano materials it is easy to envision a really functional design equipped with a 4 or 6 cylinder HO diesel engine (or both). The Ford Bronco would be a great re-emergent design that could come in both the base truck, and convertible SUV format. There is a huge demand for a utility, no fluff, truck. Dodge/RAM is now touting the "Sportsman" version of their truck but I believe they have missed the point. Sportsmen do not need an extras package to add to a base truck. They want a bare bones dependable truck that is economical and masculine.

In review... American truck, mid size, 4-6 cylinder diesel, basic and cheap (please).

Dodge Dart Slant Six

Almost all of us have a vehicle we have owned in the past that doesn't quite meet the image we would like to project for ourselves (I have had several). One of mine was an early 70's Dodge Dart Swinger. While I felt that I was driving a grandma car at the time, I really cannot complain about the gas mileage and dependability that it gave me for the two-three years I drove it. It really had some basic good looks and a great paint job. It was black, and one of the previous owners had taken it upon themselves to add several layers of clear lacquer, so when I waxed it it was really pretty impressive (the paint that is). What I should have done is a conversion to a Mopar V-8 and all of the upgrades that are shown in this picture. Just because it came with a slant 6 engine does not mean it needed to stay that way. I have since seen many examples of beautiful Dart's, and wouldn't mind a project car just like the one I had. It is funny how what we consider embarrassing as teenagers becomes nostalgic as we get older...

2013 Chevy Malibu

On the ride in this morning we were talking about the strides many car makers have made in the last few years. Being in the auto industry we are closely tied to new car releases and the popularity of models because in a few years these cars are going to need replacement parts. Hopefully just the maintenance items like brakes and oil filters, etc., but we will have them all if needed.

What prompted the discussion was a beautiful new Hyundai Genesis that drove past. Remember the old days when we used to laugh at those upstart Japanese cars from companies like Honda and Toyota? I believe we are turning that same corner with the Korean vehicles right now. It is hard to not admire the new designs from Kia and Hyundai... they really are beautiful.

The next topic was how happy we were with the new designs and engineering gains that Ford and Chevrolet have made in the last few years. Admittedly the 80's and 90's were lost decades for American badges, but they are making a strong comeback. This 2013 Malibu is not only beautiful but over the last couple of years the drive train has proven very dependable. It also is very reasonable and stacks up very well against the imports. Stay tuned as we watch GM and Ford remake themselves... and watch out for Kia and Hyundai as well.

Oh, by the way... we sell AC Delco parts for GM, Motorcraft parts for Ford and Auto 7 OE Parts for Kia and Hyundai. We will have you covered for your Auto Parts needs!

Pinto for Sale... Cheap!!

The Ford Pinto was one of those cars that many of my friends drove "back in the day". To be honest, it was much like the GM small car offering in acceptability as a first car... that is until they started to explode.
