I have mentioned it before, but it bears repeating; Check us out on Twitter! What the heck is Twitter you say? Twitter is a new social media tool that is being used in many widely varied ways. At first blush it kind of seems like a huge crowd of people all trying to get your attention. If you can work through that initial overload shock there are some ways where it begins to make sense.
The "ONE" method I will mention here is for using Twitter as a news or rumor search engine. Instead of reading the canned publications news reporting, sometimes it is very interesting to see what the vast Twitterherd of people think. By using some basic commands you can dive into this huge traffic jam of thoughts and pull out just the pieces you would like. This article does a great job of explaining how all of this works... and includes an enlarged version of this search cheat sheet chart.
