Internal Combustion Replacements
Life as we know it will continue to change at ever faster increments as computing power combines with new materials to produce breakthrough technologies. The internal combustion engine has had about a 100 year reign, but this article from Popular Mechanics highlights 6 prototype engine designs that may just begin to encroach into it's near stranglehold on the auto industry. I envision a future with super strong, very lightweight car shells over a computer operated multi-technology drive train. We will be sitting in the back multi-tasking (or sleeping) while we travel from point to point. Are you ready for the change? We may as well embrace the change because it is coming...
